Sun Sea Sand & Rawthrill...........

Here's the first blog of the new group, from Mumbai. We are four brains , basically from a planet called GPT, our names are AVC, DharmD, AshokD, and YBR. We live for pure raw thrill of travel and enjoying the nature.

IIt all started with a call from DharmedraD, to go for a weekend drive somewhere near Shrivardhan. with everybody ready to rock, AVC planned a decent programme, for the peaceful ride to the heavenly beaches of Shrivardhan, Harihareshwar, Diveagar and The great Fort Murud Janjira.

After many Emails, SMS & Teleconferencing, throughout the week, finally we plan to gather at Nerul LP, on Saturday early morning @ 8:00 am.

"Plans are prepared to be broken",

We started 1 hr late, then due to misunderstanding of gathering spot, we boarded ST bus to travel till Belapur ect ect ect...... finally by 9:15 we actually started our ride from Belapur.

before that, YBR got a small accedent while skidding on Western Express Highway 3 days before Saturday & AVC started dangerous L Ms from Friday. But the 'thrill' spirit in their heart, makes them both to get in the team and start the jouney on Saturday.

With the help of maps made up using Google earth and wikimapia.org, we reached Murud by 2:00 pm. Also many thanks to DharmendraD & his Spark, because of which we got such a nice ride throughout the travel. We enjoyed the calm ride in the Sail boat (Without dirty noise of motor) for travel to the fort. The Guide was very intense person, who told us many things bout the fort.

By 4:00, we left Murud and went to Shrivardhan, within an hours time, thanks to DharmendraD, who searched new shortcut, "on The Spot" from the help of local auto driver. Accomodation was arranged by AVC at Shrivardhan beach, the room was ok, not so good, not so bad. Enjoyed evening there and specially the night, except AVC, who is having only Nimbuz from Morning till night. Opposit to it one person "The Mr. James Bond", our driver enjoyed all the fun with open heart. James, also stole around 6 to 8 coconuts from the place. In night DarmendraD did some "Setting" with local care taker, and got another room.

6:00 am in the morning, DharmendraD, YBR and James, three were on the beach, whereas, AVC and AshokD enjoyed the morning Nap in bed till 7:30.

We all had shower and Breakfast bit late by 9:45, and left for Harihareshwar.

Harihareshwar is very relaxed and calm place, with no crowd and rush of people, trying to take darshan. Nice small village, with currently newly constructed sea shore protection and new landfill around the shore. Due to high tide, we can not complete the Pradakshina, but we enjoyed the stiff cliff. James also saw some Dolphins there, AVC and YBR waited for Dolphins, Whales, Sharks ect ect, but can not got even a 'Maandeli'. Lucky James......

Had nice Konkani type Lunch there in noon, and strated to travel to Diveagar via Aarvi and Shekhadi.

These two beaches are Heaven, pure virgin beaches, with road travelling parallel to beach. we parked car at one place and did lots of photo shoot, in various poses, including topless posses by all the Salmaan Khans. DharmendraD also gave one 'Bedhund' Pose there.

We reached Diveagar by 2:30 pm. Diveagar is famous for a Gold Ganesh mask, found in 1997, at Diveagar. It was good. From there we returned to Mumbai via Maangaon, and DharmendraD Dropped AshokD, AVC and YBR by 7: 40 pm at NerulLP flyover Jn.

09822045266 is the number of Mr. Sarkhot, who have 5 cottages at Shrivardhan, 4 of 2 bedded and 1 with 3 beds, additional 1 or 2 matresses can be arranged, with some extra cost.

Prefgerably ask for two AC cottages, which are in front of entrance.

Thats how we enjoyed 2 days
Thats it

Now What NeXT...................................................
